I discovered it by chance at 1800 m on the Lure mountain, it is characterized by very finely lobed leaves, often silvery or silky underneath.
The stems are thin, creeping or slightly upright.
The flowers are small, greenish to yellowish, in discreet small clusters.
It inhabits alpine meadows, rocky areas, and high-altitude grasslands (often above 1500 m).
Traditional uses
Infusion to help with painful menstruation, mild digestive disorders, or to tone the body.
For external use, it can be used for sitz baths or compresses (astringent properties).
Precautions during harvesting
Harvestmoderately, always leave enough plants intact for it to reproduce.
Pick with scissors or a small knife to avoid uprooting the root.
Be careful in fragile mountain environments: protected areas, local species sometimes regulated.
